Did you know that ScrapGalaxy has over 500 fonts - especially chosen for scrapbooking - and they are all free!! All you need to do is download them to your computer. So if you aren’t sure how to do that exactly, then keep reading, this tutorial is for you.

First of all, head over to the Resources section of ScrapGalaxy and click on Fonts - there are a variety of categories for the fonts. Choose which you’d like and click on the name of the font you’d like to download.

A box will come up saying that you have chosen to open this zip file. It will give you two options: open , or save . Make sure you choose Save

Another box will pop up, asking you where you’d like to save the file to. Choose a location on your computer. I find it easiest to save the fonts to my desktop.

Once you have saved the file (you can save as many as you’d like following these same steps) - go to your desktop and locate the file of the font.

Double click so it opens, then click on Extract all files.

When the next box comes up click Next

Now you will have to choose where you want the file zipped to. If you leave the default in, it will zip it to the same place you downloaded the file to. In my case, it’s my desktop again.

Click Next and then Finish

A folder will now open showing the TT (True Type) Font file. Leave this file open on your screen and go to the start menu at the bottom of the screen (left side) and click on Control Panel.

Open the Fonts folder and simply drag the font you just downloaded into the Fonts Folder.

A box will pop up saying ‘Installing Font’. That’s it! Your new font is installed and ready to use!
