Mystery Date #2

Last Sunday Brent and I actually had an entire day to spend together - no work, no appointments, no classes. I closed my laptop and managed to drag Brent away from his computer for an entire afternoon. This time it was my turn to plan an outing for us without telling Brent where we were going. It was so much fun teasing him for a couple days prior to the “mystery date” cause he couldn’t figure it out. The only hints I gave him were: we’ve done it several times before but never here, and we can do it no matter what the weather is like, it can be indoors or outdoors. It was Mini Golf!!! I found out about this great mini golf place - well its a huge fun center actually - about an hour away from us. They have an 18 hole outdoor course, plus 2 separate 18 hole indoor courses! Each one was themed, one was underwater themed, and the other was a jungle theme. They were both really well done. So we drive up to this place - it looks like a castle kind of - a total kiddie type place - and Brent is like “what is this place….” and I exclaim “We’re Here!!!” Lol!!! So funny. But we had a great time!! We played both the indoor courses - Brent won both rounds, but I got a hole in one on the last hole we played and I won a free pass for another round! So now we have to go back one day. We finished off our day at Dairy Queen on the way home and got blizzards - yum!!! Strawberry Cheesequake for me - I am so addicted to it.

    Hey Jess!

It’s been a while since I last checked your page, you’ve been busy! Nathan loves mini golf, I should take him there one day when we come over to Vancouver. What’s it called? The pictures look awesome, we have a couple of mini golf places here, outdoor ones but .. eh, there not that exciting.

And yeah the strawberry cheesequake blizzards are the BEST! Did you know you can ask them to add extra stuff to it, they add more cheesecake bites and strawberries.. YUM!!

Sounds like you had a very fun day, I’m so glad you two can find some time to do fun things together in your very busy lives. Good for you!

    Love ya..

Create a white wash (mix gesso or white acrylic paint with water in a 3:1 ratio) and brush all over blocks - let dry.” In the PhotoBlocks tutorial.. what purpose does this step make. Why do i need to do this step? Thanks!
